Triptii Dimri, reveling in the limelight following the monumental success of “Animal,” recently addressed the buzz surrounding a viral video capturing her seemingly intense gaze at Ranbir Kapoor during the film’s screening. Reflecting on the moment, Triptii shared insights during an interview on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube Channel.
“At the screening of Animal a few days ago, the entire cast was present, and a video capturing me staring at Ranbir Kapoor garnered significant attention,” Triptii acknowledged. Describing the context of the incident, she explained, “We were at the screening, and they wanted to shoot the whole cast together. Ranbir was right in front of me, engaged in conversation with someone. If someone’s talking in front of me, obviously, you will look at that person.”
Triptii went on to reveal the aftermath of the viral video, stating, “If you notice, I was just rubbing my hands. My dad called me after watching the footage and asked, ‘Were you nervous?’ I admitted, ‘Yes. How did you know?’ He responded, ‘You were rubbing your hands. I know, you rub your hands when you are nervous.’ So, I was really nervous, especially standing with someone like Ranbir. In that moment, you don’t even realize where you are looking or what you are looking at.”
Triptii As Zoya In Animal
The interview also delved into Triptii’s portrayal of Zoya in “Animal,” where her character engages in a passionate affair with Ranbir Kapoor’s Rannvijay. In a pivotal scene from the film, Rannvijay reveals Zoya as a mole and instructs her to demonstrate her love by licking his shoe. The intimate nature of the scene has generated discussions among audiences. Triptii candidly shared her parents’ reactions to the scene, noting that they expressed reservations about her decision to participate in it.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed and released “Animal” on December 1, achieving blockbuster success by amassing an impressive ₹443 crore at the domestic box office.
