Actor Sunil Grover has posted a photo with his longtime co-star Kapil Sharma, in which they are posing with pop star Rihanna. However, there’s a unique twist to the picture. It turns out that the photo was taken when Rihanna was leaving India from the Jamnagar airport and she called two paparazzi members to take a picture with her. Interestingly, the faces of those paparazzi members have been replaced with the faces of Sunil and Kapil. The comical picture of Sunil
On Wednesday, Sunil posted an edited picture of Rihanna posing with him and Kapil on his Instagram account. He added a caption to the post, “Ha ha ha.” Actors Shriya Pilgaonkar and Mouni Roy also dropped teary-eyed laughter emojis in the comment section. Kapil hasn’t reacted to Sunil’s hilariously edited photo yet.
About Rihanna’s recent visit
During her debut performance in India, Rihanna electrified the stage on the first day of the extravagant pre-wedding celebration for billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant.
The global music sensation, known for popular songs like Diamonds, Where Have You Been, Rude Boy, and Pour it Up, had Indian film stars including Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Shreya Ghoshal, and Shiamak Davar dancing to her music.
Rihanna wore a shiny, form-fitting fluorescent green and pink outfit as she showcased her best dance moves and engaged with the crowd at the large event, taking place over three days in a residential area near Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL)’s petroleum refinery near Jamnagar city.
After spending several hours in the country, Rihanna took photos with the paparazzi at the airport before departing. She even embraced the female police officers who had escorted her, expressing her fondness for India and promising to come back.
Kapil and Sunil come together again
Having collaborated on The Kapil Sharma Show for a long time, Sunil and Kapil are coming together once more after a turbulent falling out. Netflix India recently released a video announcing their reunion, which they captioned, “Aapke ghar ka raasta, hasee se hokar jaata hai. The Great Indian Kapil Show arrives at 8 PM every Saturday from 30 March, only on Netflix.”
The upcoming video showcases comedians Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur along with actor Archana Puran Singh as they discuss the best way to make a big announcement for the title of their new show.
The official logline for The Great Indian Kapil Show states, “Netflix welcomes India’s beloved comedian and his zany yet devoted ensemble of characters! Set in a lively airport, the show is a diverse chat show with weekly appearances by prominent celebrity guests.” According to the show’s press release, the series will reach international audiences by blending Kapil Sharma’s distinctive wit with traditional Indian humor.
