When husband Virat Kohli scored his 50th ODI century during India vs. New Zealand World Cup semi-final on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Anushka Sharma was one pleased wife. She wrote a heartfelt message for the cricket player on Instagram after showering him with kisses while they were in the stadium. She referred to him in the note as “God’s child.”
Sharing a picture of Virat Kohli on her Instagram Stories, Anushka wrote around midnight, “God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God’s child.” She also inserted a few heart emojis in the note.
Anushka also posted a photo of Team India’s star players to her Instagram Stories, captioning it, “This. gun. team.” India advanced to the World Cup final, where it will play Australia on the field, by defeating New Zealand by 70 runs. She posted a solitary photo of Mohammed Shami, who earned Player of the Match after taking seven wickets, along with multiple clapping emojis in the text.
Anushka had written a heartfelt message and included a few photos of Virat in different moods on his 35th birthday earlier this month. She joined them in writing, “He is literally EXCEPTIONAL in every role in his life! But somehow continues to add more feathers to his glorious hat. I love YOUUU through this life and beyond and endlessly so, in every shape, form, through it all, whatever it may be so @virat.kohli.” He had responded to her post with face palming and dancing emojis.
Despite pregnancy rumors, Anushka keeps showing up to Team India’s important matches. The rumors remain unconfirmed, leaving fans to speculate, as she and Virat have not addressed them.
