Actor Christian Oliver And His Two Daughters Tragically Lost Their Lives In A Plane Crash In The Caribbean

On January 4, actor Christian Oliver, famous for his roles in movies such as Speed Racer, tragically lost his life along with his two daughters in a plane crash near Petit Nevis Island, a private island close to Bequia in the eastern Caribbean. The aircraft was enroute to St. Lucia, as reported by the police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The 51-year-old actor, along with his daughters Madita Klepser (10) and Annik Klepser (12), tragically lost their lives in the crash. Pilot Robert Sachs also perished in the accident. Police stated that the cause of the crash was not immediately evident. The actor was also recognized by the name Christian Klepser.

Fishers and underwater explorers in the vicinity hurried to the scene of the accident to provide assistance, while the St. Vincent and Grenadines Coast Guard was enroute to the location.

“The selfless and brave acts of the fishermen and divers are very much appreciated,” The police, as reported by AP, said.

Oliver was originally from Germany and had numerous credited roles in both film and television. He appeared in the 2008 sports action comedy “Speed Racer” and in “The Good German,” a 2006 World War II film directed by Steven Soderbergh, alongside George Clooney and Cate Blanchett.

Additionally, Oliver was involved in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and lent his voice to the fifth and last installment of the Indiana Jones film series, which starred Harrison Ford.

He made appearances in season two of the 1990s show Saved by the Bell: The New Class as Brian Keller, a transfer student from Switzerland. Additionally, he had a role in the television series Cobra 11.
