Deepika recently graced the annual Umang event hosted by the Mumbai Police in Mumbai. She looked stunning in a high-neck blue saree, complemented by heavy makeup and her hair styled in a bun. Deepika is set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming aerial action thriller “Fighter” alongside Hrithik Roshan. The movie also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. Presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, “Fighter” guarantees high-octane action. Recently, the official teaser of the film was revealed, receiving positive feedback from fans.
The 1-minute-14-second teaser showcases Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky, all fighting for their country. The teaser highlights the main cast flying high in their jets and performing aerial stunts. It also provides a glimpse of a party track featuring the lead actors. The movie was primarily filmed at air bases in India using real Sukhoi’s and Indian fighter planes. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on January 25, 2024.
Deepika is also set to star in “Kalki 2898 AD” alongside Prabhas. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, and is anticipated to release in 2024. Additionally, fans can look forward to seeing Deepika in “Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty.
