On her 58th birthday, Katrina posted a photo on her Instagram stories with a caption, “Tiger Tiger Tiger May u always be just as you are …a true original (white heart emoticon). Happy birthday.”
Salman and Katrina are one of the most adored on-screen couples. They have collaborated in multiple movies including ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Bharat’, ‘Yuvvraaj’, ‘Partner’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and the latest action-packed thriller ‘Tiger 3’.
Regarding the on-screen chemistry with Katrina, the ‘Dabangg’ actor previously mentioned to ANI, “I liked the characters of Tiger and Zoya very much. I believe the same chemistry wasn’t there in the earlier movies that we did together. Though viewers were fond of our on-screen pairing, we didn’t have chemistry till the ‘Tiger’ franchise came along. We did a film called ‘Yuvvraaj’ in which there wasn’t much chemistry on show. Thereafter, we did the ‘Tiger’ franchise in which there was a lot of chemistry as our characters were sketched very well. So the chemistry you see is not the Salman-Katrina chemistry but Tiger and Zoya’s chemistry.”
When discussing their future projects, Salman has not yet revealed details about his next film. Meanwhile, Katrina is set to appear in the thriller movie ‘Merry Christmas’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Radhika Apte, and Sanjay Kapoor. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, who previously directed successful films like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Andhadhun’, ‘Merry Christmas’ is highly anticipated.
The movie’s trailer was unveiled a few days ago, sparking curiosity among viewers. Based on the trailer, director Sriram Raghavan has added his unique touch to the conventional romance format, promising suspense, seduction, and surprise for the audience. “Merry Christmas” is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 12, 2024.
