She believes the Indian actress speaks disparagingly about Pakistan without having any knowledge of the nation. She called Kangana Ranaut an extremist for slandering her country, Pakistan.
Kangana Ranaut has been accused of inciting hatred against many communities and, in particular, of speaking negatively about a neighboring country. After her repeated anti-Pakistan statements, this Pakistani actress, Nausheen Shah, has spoken frankly about Kangana Ranaut and encouraged her to focus on her controversies and ex-boyfriends rather than her nation, Pakistan.
When asked which Bollywood actor she would most like to meet, Nausheen stated that she would most like to meet Kangana Ranaut. She said, “The way she says sh** about my country, the way she says a lot of crap about the Pakistan army, I salute her audacity. She has no knowledge but talks about the country, that too someone else’s country. Focus on your own country, focus on your acting… focus on your controversies and ex-boyfriends and whatnot.”
“How do you know people are mistreated in Pakistan?” she continued. How do you know about the Pakistan Army? How do you know about our agencies? We ourselves don’t know, the agencies are in our country, the Army is our country’s, and they don’t share these things with us. They are secrets, are they not?'”
Finally, she commended Kangana, saying, “ Brilliant actress. Beautiful, she’s an extremely beautiful woman. But I’m sorry, when it comes to respecting other people and countries, very bad… she’s an extremist.”

Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to share a lengthy statement explaining why the name Bharat is far more significant than the name India, writing, “What is there to love in this name? First of all, they couldn’t pronounce ‘Sindhu’ toh usko bigad ke ‘ Indus’ kar diya. Phir kabhi Hindos kabhi Indos kuch bhi gol mol karke India bana diya.”
She went on to say, “From the time of Mahabharata, all the kingdoms who participated in the Great War of Kurukshetra came under one continent called Bharat so why were they calling us Indu Sindu?? Also, the name Bharat is so meaningful, what is the meaning of India ?”
“I know they called Red Indians that because in olden English Indian simply meant a slave, they named us Indians because that was our new identity given to us by the British. Even in the olden days, the dictionary Indian meaning was mentioned a slave they recently changed it. Also, it’s not our name we are Bhartiya, not Indians.” The actress came to a conclusion.
