On Thursday, Salman Khan revealed that his upcoming movie will be called Sikandar and is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on Eid 2025. (Also Read: Tiger 3, Starring Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif, Is Now Available Online)

Salman is set to portray the lead character in the film, with A R Murugadoss directing. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The celebrity conveyed his heartfelt greetings to his fans for the Eid festival through a message on his official social media accounts. He also encouraged them to catch the movies Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, as well as Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan, in cinemas.

“Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo… Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar. Directed by @a.r.murugadoss,” Salman, 58, posted along with an announcement poster.

Murugadoss is most famous for his work as a director in Tamil and Hindi cinema, with notable films including Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Sarkar.

Earlier, he wrote the screenplay for Salman’s film Jai Ho in 2014, a remake of Murugadoss’ successful Telugu film Stalin. Salman’s most recent appearance was in Tiger 3, the third installment of his Tiger series.

It is said that his next appearance will be in the upcoming film The Bull, directed by Vishnuvardhan. However, an official announcement for the film is still pending. He is also set to star in Tiger vs Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

Salman Khan recently caught everyone’s attention in his classic pathani kurta as he maintained the tradition of attending the yearly iftaar party thrown by Baba Siddique and Zeeshan Siddique. Prior to stepping onto the red carpet, the actor from Tiger 3 embraced Baba Siddique.

Salman dressed in a black and white checkered kurta which he matched with black pyjamas. Wearing a black and white checkered kurta set, the ‘Dabangg’ actor looked stylish in this classic outfit.

Khan chose to go for a smooth, clean-shaven appearance and only accessorized with a bracelet and a watch, making a fashion statement that outshone the other celebrities in attendance at the event.
