Reports reveal that Alan Ruck, the 67-year-old actor famous for his roles in Succession and the iconic 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, was involved in a car accident that resulted in his vehicle crashing into a pizza restaurant in Hollywood.
The incident occurred at a busy intersection in Los Angeles around 9 pm last Wednesday. Surveillance footage, as reported by TMZ, captures a white truck, believed to be driven by Ruck, colliding with the rear of another vehicle, pushing it into the intersection. The truck then veered off the road and collided with the side of Raffallo’s Pizza restaurant.
Tim Ratcliff, who owns nearby restaurants, described the impact, saying, “The whole building shook, and I thought a bomb or something had exploded.”
Following the accident, Ruck was seen speaking on the phone. Fortunately, despite the severity of the crash, only two individuals suffered minor facial injuries but were conscious and breathing. Reports suggest that there is no suspicion of alcohol influence on Ruck’s part.
LAPD sergeant Hector Guzman reassured, “There were injuries reported, but they appear to be minor, nothing life-threatening.” Importantly, no one involved in the incident was arrested, according to the police.
This incident has raised concerns about road safety and the importance of staying cautious while driving, especially at intersections.
