Tom Holland has responded to a social media influencer who jokingly said he’d kill the Spider-Man actor and take on his identity for the rest of his days if it meant dating Zendaya. Blakely Thornton said that he would go to those lengths to be with Zendaya despite announcing that he isn’t even sexually attracted to girls.
Blakely describes himself as an entrepreneur and describes himself as a “Pop Culture Anthropologist & Sexy Clown. Hot, gay, fearless.” in his Instagram bio. Blakely makes an appearance as a pop-up on a video of Zendaya posing on the red carpet in a black and emerald green gown that she accessorized with silver jewelry in a Reel that he released.
Blakely says in the video, “I don’t even like girls sexually and I would straight up murder Tom Holland, live the rest of my life with white face and six inches less of height to be in a relationship with Zendaya. But even if it didn’t last, worth it.”
The Reel was posted 11 weeks ago, or over three months ago, yet Tom only recently commented on it with a laughing-with-tears emoji.
Many users could identify with Blakely’s situation. On his post, one of them left a comment, “Tom Hollands gotta watch out for the gays…the straights…the lesbians…and everyone in between, up, down, and all around.” Another wrote, “I’m a girl, a heterosexual, and I understand this message.” “As a bisexual, it’s truly difficult looking at them together. How dare they, both of them, y’know?,” read a comment.
A user wrote before Tom’s comment, “I 10000% believe Tom feels the same way.” Another commented, “Zendaya Is for gay dudes what Ryan Reynolds is for straight men.”
On the Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) set, Tom and Zendaya first exchanged contact information. The Euphoria actor later rejected the claims that he had dropped an engagement ring picture, which has been the subject of recent internet speculation. In the following installment of the Spider-Man franchise, Tom and Zendaya will appear. Next year, she will also appear in Dune: Part Two and Challengers.
